This small article is about one such person whom I met last year: Shantanu Dubey. He is known in society among the leagues of other entrepreneurs. Well, when  I met him, he was Public Relations Manager of The Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Bombay. This initiative was given birth by a group of IITians from IIT Bombay and since then has developed the entrepreneurial ecosystem for shaping a bright future of youth and society. These bunch of entrepreneurs has a clear vision in their minds.

Shantanu Dubey an innovator

Shantanu Dubey is an innovator and with his creative and analytical thinking, he envisioned for better tomorrow.   The Entrepreneurship and Business Club, Startup Boot Camp, Eureka and many more initiatives were organised under his leadership. He was an active and vigorous member of The Entrepreneurship Cell. One such initiative, Eureka is successful in encouraging people to open their ventures/startups and helps them by providing them handholding support to test the market. Finally, the E-summit helps the people to put their efforts in the form of expos, panel discussions, events etc. This gave a change to the newbies to learn fresh business tactics and real-life situations.

The summit which is the turning point for E-Cell is organized with the help of IIT Bombay’s Society for innovation & entrepreneurship (SINE). The ten minutes million challenge was a huge success last year as well. 10 start-ups got 10 minutes to pitch and then the angel investors would decide whom to fund. Here, Shantanu Dubey has played a fantastic role in shaping the members’ vision and letting the participants come up with their ideas with full enthusiasm and knowledge. He served as a mentor to a few, meanwhile, the startups which got the funds of 1.5 Million were – Koonk aka Cloudrionol, FabX, IntuitThings – Falcon Control Systems and Automation.

The Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Bombay is blessed with the privilege of having extremely supportive partners and sponsors all through the summit and events. During this Shantanu Dubey, who has been an integral part of the E-Cell and has played a rock-solid role in mentoring and assisting the start-ups to achieve heights and success in their business.
