Bharat box office collection Day 3: This Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer has earned Rs 95.50 crore in three days. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial earned Rs 22.20 crore on Friday.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted the film’s figures on his Twitter handle. He tweeted, “#Bharat maintains a grip on Day 3 [Fri]… Mass circuits remain strong, while some circuits faced normal decline after #Eid festivities… Should witness an upturn on Day 4 [Sat] and 5 [Sun]… Wed 42.30 cr, Thu 31 cr, Fri 22.20 cr. Total: ₹ 95.50 cr. India biz.”

Now all these are just figures and these figures say it all. It is a family entertainer, yet another Salman Khan movie which has grabbed all the attention for all the reasons. This Ali Abbas Zafar directorial is well written and has a stronghold on the story. Well initiated story but missed on many sections to hold attention but doesn’t capitulate to the trappings of commercial potboilers. Basically, the issue with the screenplay and direction was the story’s strong connection with Bharat’s dream and his India’s affection.

Story: Now when you have too many aspects to show there is always a miss. The fact is that it reis too hard to grab the audience’s attention but didn’t proved to be a massive hit. It was overall an entertaining movie for the family to watch – a typical Salman Khan movie but has a draining odyssey. The movie was though being an adaptation of South Korean drama Ode to my Father (2014). It emphases on the personal and professional choices of its virtuous hero, and in Bollywood, it was set against the social backdrop of its time and the times which India as a country has seen since independence.

There were too many things happening at one time which made it across a loop of characters and scenes. While he accomplishes to keep you hooked notwithstanding his complex source material and misplaced songs makes it a complex movie. Eventually, this makes the movie an arduous, dispersed watch it despite the entertainment, humour and nobility it proliferates.

The cast: Salman Khan the hero itself has a mark for his audience as always. We all know that even if the movie does did not have much of the smash hit content – it gives a box office hit because of the stardom and love Salman Khan gets. And there is nothing wrong in it as he is fantabulous. Interestingly Salman’s love for his family and the sober family person in real life is somehow being always showcased at the epitome in his lives. Which in this movie too has come out interestingly well?

Katrina Kaif: she is stunning and gorgeous. And the character of feisty kumud who is valiant and authentic enough to make the first move on him. “I love you. Shaadi ki umra ho gayi hai meri. Tumse shaadi karna chahti hoon,” she says without winking an eye. She proposes marriage without fearing rejection. “I do and say what I think is right,” she adds and doesn’t mind teasing Salman, “Tum thodey self-obsessed Nahi ho?” Bharat is Katrina’s best-acting part to date. Her harmony with Salman feels accepted and she does a good job at depicting a woman who is self-assured without being swaggering. Her hair is a different story though with the grey streaks are erratic as her character ages and the boisterous curls feel pointless.

Sunil Grover: He actually is the best fit in Ali’s writing is how he places Sunil Grover’s character as Vilayati is commendable and a sigh to see him performing as Bharat’s best friend and amigo. The best friends are the soulmates connections is quite evident in the movie and reflects beautifully. Grover does contend justice to his well-written role and justifies more such noteworthy parts. Sonali Kulkarni and Jackie Shroff are terrific as always, including the other cast – Tabu and the kids of course.

Bharat movie cast: Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Sunil Grover, Jackie Shroff, Sonali Kulkarni, Disha Patani, Satish Kaushik

Bharat movie director: Ali Abbas Zafar

Bharat movie rating: 3 stars out of 5 (majorly for the story)

Do you know: Avengers: Endgame” is the third-most-expensive film ever made

Avengers-Endgame-MCU-Rewatch review

Drifting in space with no food or water, Tony Stark tend to send a message to Pepper Potts as his oxygen source starts to shrink. In the interim, the remaining Avengers — Thor, Black Widow, Captain America and Bruce Banner – requisitely have to figure out a way to bring back their bested partners for an epic showdown with Thanos — the evil demigod who destroyed the planet and the universe.

This is Avengers: Endgame

– it’s being a good time now for this movie as it is already released, but today for me it’s time to write the review. De read it fully. Just to start with my review I would say that please do not except a typical happy ending for this movie as there isn’t any. And two of our favourite Avengers would be dead in the movie. Now, this is not a spoiler and I’m sure most of them must have watched this movie by now.

Background: After the must-see confrontation that was ‘Infinity War,’ the Russo brothers bring a more fan-facing three-hour follow-up, gratifying allegiance to Marvel Cinematic Universe.

For those who haven’t seen it yet, there’s a spoiler alert Avengers: EndGame

It is the culmination of a 10-year-old and more than many years for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Viewers have had a year to grieve about the loss of Spider-Man, Star-Lord, and Black Panther (whom they’d only just met two months earlier in the movies and comics), and to cultivate theories as to where directing siblings Anthony and Joe Russo might bullock things from here. Maybe all those characters weren’t really dead. Maybe the lasting Avengers just needed to travel inside the Soul Stone to get them back. Or maybe “Avengers: Endgame” would have to possibly be that most desperate of chronicle cheats — time travel — to undo the impairment caused by Thanos (the purple-skinned, multi-chinned baddie so fascinatingly performed by Josh Brolin).

avengers end game movie review

The surprise for the audiences

The component of surprise and the excitement of discovery are everything in these movies, so every effort has been made to curtail spoilers. Yes, “Avengers: Endgame” is the most sprawling film yet, and yes, it endeavours to provide emotional liberation for several of fans’ favourite characters. It’s even nontoxic to say that “Endgame” shifts the focus from prodigal, effects-driven displays of universe-saving — diverse though they remain — to the more human cost of gallantry, which comes at a great individual sacrifice.

The start to the Endgame

The opening scene of “Endgame” go back to that intolerable moment from the point of view of Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), who take a seat out the previous fight to spend time with his wife and kids, such that the anguish he feels in watching them evaporated in the Spur-of-the-moment that will come to stand for what all living things must practice as the bystander are their friends and family who disappear.

And then nearly after two and a half hours of hardcore comic-book acting — blinking solemn storytelling with self-deprecatory zingers designed to show that Marvel doesn’t take itself too utterly — “Endgame” cloaks all that logic-bending babble with a series of authoritative emotional scenes. Whereas all the fatalities suffered at the end of “Infinity War” felt shadily like a stunt that would be undone in this film, these substantial character moments exemplify the spirit of peculiar ransom that certain personalities consciously make on behalf of the team and the universe as outsized.

avengers end game review

Time and again, “Endgame” clearly puts the point that family is all that matters, whether it is with biological ties or means — like Iron Man, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, and Thor have experienced — or those bogus by duty. The final carryout from this decade-long voyage is that heroism isn’t well-defined by courage or super-abilities, but by what one gives up for the superior good. Among the many hindrances of the Snap was that it raided so many great charismas — and gazillions of unidentified creatures throughout the galaxy — of proactively building that choice. “Endgame” isn’t precisely a do-over, but it shapes to an extremely more substantial conclusion.

Bollywood is always known for thrillers, and movies infused with mysteries and suspense have its own audience in Bollywood industry. Reasons for this are many, they keep you stick to your chair; they thrill you every second for guessing what is coming next, etc. With its own set of audience, thriller movies have created their own niche in Bollywood. On the contrary, there are some underrated movies that seem to be intriguing yet not hyped much. For example, Nirdosh a suspense thriller of ZEE5 that casts Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Fadnnis is one of the best thrillers of 2018. However, it did not grab the kind of attention it deserved from the audience. You would probably know quite a few of them and must have watched as well, but here’s a rundown of a few, Check the list below:

Nirdosh

Let’s kick things off with the movie that I blew me away recently. Nirdosh dropped in the theatre in 2018. This suspense thriller cast Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Phadnis in the lead roles. The story revolves around a family of three that came to a toppling affair when a paying guest Mahek Chahal comes to stay with them. The movie is directed by Pradeep Rangwani and Subroto Paul. They have tried to make the story engaging through a brutish investigating Inspector Lokhande who arrests Manjari Fadnnis as a prime suspect. Later in the story, we realise that everyone seems to be a suspect in this murder mystery thriller. Arbaaz Khan looks handsome as always, and Ashmit Patel too had an appealing look in the movie. The other cast too did a fair amount of justice to their role. You can Watch Nirdosh Online anytime you want.

8X10 Tasveer

Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor – 8X10 Tasveer is a Hindi psychological thriller starring Akshay Kumar, Ayesha Takia, Sharmila Tagore, and Javed Jaffrey. Right from the bat, one can see that the movie travels along with the character Jai, who is a forest ranger in Canada with a unique trait of seeing things in past just by starring at the photographs. He developed this mysterious talent when he died in an accident under mysterious circumstances. Further, he starts looking for his father’s murderers with the help of his psychic powers. The cast of the movie leads movies were able to keep me hooked to my chair. Akshay Kumar – the star himself has done wonderfully well. Ayesha Takia plays a good role but, to be very honest, it was not that impactful, whereas Javed has justified the character’s needs. Overall this thriller is a must watch for all thriller lovers.

Shagird

The 2011 thriller is directed by none other than Tigmanshu Dhulia and stars Nana Patekar as Hanumant Singh, Mohit Ahlawat as Mohit Kumar and Rimi Sen as Varsha Mathur in the lead roles. With such a food casting crew, Tigmanshu Dhulia cooked up a great cop thriller. In Shagird, a rookie cop questions the tactics of his bosses and tries to track the kidnappers of his girlfriend. Unlike the others mentioned in the list, Shagird has jiffies of authority and an uneven, clammy texture that thuds particularly when the camera twists through the bylanes of Old Delhi. It is a crime action thriller which starts with Bunty Bhaiya, who is the gangster and has been arrested in Ghaziabad. What follows forms the entire story of the movie. In a nutshell, it is one cop thriller that no Nana Patekar fan can afford to miss.

Phobia

Phobia – I must say that it is a must watch movie for a Radhika Apte fan. She is a phenomenal actress and has done all the justice to her role in this psychological thriller which got released in 2016. The movie is directed by Pavan Kirpalani and produced by Viki Rajani. Phobia revolves around the life of Mehak Deo (Radhika Apte) who suffers from agoraphobia. She is not able to respond and interact with people who are unknown to her and thus, remains aloof in her apartment. To make matters worse turns out that the apartment that she holds herself in has a traumatised history of a tenant who inexplicably vanished. The plot is interesting, and the background score from Karan Gaur makes the whole story appealing and edged.

Phobia Movie ZEE5 Spirited Blogger

Bollywood has been superlative in terms of cinema, and the above mentioned are a few movies that did not get the response from the audience. Had they got the right amount of attention, many of them would have ended up as future classics. Nonetheless, they are spectacular in their own way. Watch them on ZEE5 whenever you want.

John Abraham’s Espionage RAW – Romeo Akbar Walter Bollywood Movie Review

RAW - Romeo Akbar Walter Movie Review – Spirited Blogger

Starring John Abraham, Mouni Roy, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher and Raghubir Yadav in key roles, RAW – Romeo Akbar Walter has been directed by Robbie Grewal. Music director: Ankit Tiwari, Shabbir Ahmed, Sohail Sen, Hanif Shaikh, Raaj Aashoo.

We see there are ample movies being made that based on the martyr and the warriors of our nation we have had since ages, in fact, we see them all since our independence and post that era as well. But, what Romeo Akbar Walter has done is immensely marvellous. This is my personal view on the movie – coming to the story, it has nailed like any other RAW and intelligence agencies movies in Bollywood, but what makes me intrigued is the ability to pull it off with the niche that it almost felt that it can be an anti-Indian movie. Nonetheless, it wasn’t!!

To start with RAW – Romeo Akbar Walter

can be a slow burner for many as the pace goes like a turtle but later it cleans up the mess from our nation during the times of 1971 war and post that when Walter Khan (John Abraham) soars into the patriotic Indian agent working on the lands of Pakistan.

RAW - Romeo Akbar Walter Movie Review – Spirited Blogger

The story

The first half, in specific, is quite deliberate and takes its own time for the setup and build up. You might feel that nothing’s really up-to-the-minute here in this movie and it is getting emotional on every front unnecessary, but nah, by the end of the film, it all makes sense. The writing is pretty good I must say and the screenplay is a bit precarious. I personally loved the twists in the movie but was hoping to have more; however, no offence but the script perhaps demanded the same.

Romeo (John Abraham) played a spy but was shown as a bank cashier who was then recruited by India’s foreign intelligence agency — the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). They believe he’s a master of disguise and can operate as Akbar, India’s undercover agent in Pok (Pakistan occupied Kashmir) – all these events are during the time around 1971 Indo-Pak war. He pulled it off strategically and for me, it is one of the most amazing works of John post-Madras Café.

I quite like the entry of Sikandar Kher – the moment he steps in the movie the twists and the drama enthralled the audience. I would like to see more of him in films and of Raghubir Yadav as well as they both are fabulous actors in their own genre and Kher has to be pulled off more. Mouni Roy needs to work on acting skills more, it’s nothing like she isn’t one but for movies and great cinema she had to choose what makes her comfortable. Needless to say about amazing work done by Jackie Shroff, it was a delight to see him on the screen in such a strong character.

RAW - Romeo Akbar Walter Movie Review – Spirited Blogger

My ratings: 3.5 out of 5 stars (only for John Abraham)

Critic Review: A bit slow movie at pace but in the end has triggered the audience with patriotism and real station between India and Pakistan.

PS: A definitely must watch a movie for John and his team, Robbie Grewal god job done. Go watch it guys.

Son Chiraiya – Movie Review
Son Chiraiya – Movie Review

Son Chiraiya is a story that tells us about of Chambal Ghati – India which widely known for a pack of rebels and is marked for dacoits as well. Since ages, we all have been hearing and reading a lot of tales about Chambal Ghati. The dacoits have their own set of rules on which they live on and adhere to them quite strictly. Additionally, they have a regime that they will not harm females and children. The story is set on of the gang from Chambal – The Beehad gang, which is being cursed by some circumstances when they were robbing a house. The group then pursues to rob a wedding, however, later the conditions make changeovers and they get their backs against the wall. Later in the movie, you will see a large size of dacoits was killed however, a minority of dacoits including Lakhan (Sushant Singh) succeeded to escape. After that, Lakhan had a new objective as during the escape he meets Indumati (Pednekar) with a little girl named Son Chiraiya who was a rape victim and needed help to survive and need to be taken to the hospital within 48 hours, else she will die.

Son Chiraiya – Movie Review
Son Chiraiya – Movie Review

The story moves ahead with this same notion and Lakhan (Sushant Singh) stayed on his promise to make the gang free from the curse that everybody has been suffering from. For me, it actually catered to the niche audience and the actors including the supporting staff made it happen to their best. Sushant Singh Rajput played the penetrating character of Lakhan and it is well-thought-out one of the best performance by him. Ashutosh Rana and Manoj Bajpayee are dexterous as ever. Apart from that Bhumi Pednekar fits flawlessly in the role of Indumati Tomar. The film is crammed with action and while you watch it you feel like a trip to the small yet muddled villages of Chambal. Apart from that, the film also delivers some loud messages and issues that are still seen in modern India. It depicts some of the biggest issues like misogyny and the patriarchal society, which is dreadful to watch but reality.

My ratings: I would give it a 4/5 star.

The Christmas is on the roll and the entire town will paint red and white. On this occasion, kids had a chance to watch Grinch a new movie released last week. Movies and books have a special place in our lives from all the times and kids love to read as they connect with their lives and get crazy about them. At times it a terrible feeling to just sit and read but this week’s movie has a lot of love and true message for kids and for parents. The Grinch gives the archetypal Seuss foundation and its elements that are brightly animated and update that’s sturdily appropriate for younger viewers without adding considerably to the story’s legacy. If anything, which indicates that good people can effortlessly turn awful so, I can’t help but feel that the story of Dr. Seuss’s “How the Grinch Stole Christmas, was supposed to happen in the real world. Then it would end up with all the people of Whoville that are just going paranoid and pampering in an orgy of vengeance and hate after discovering out that all their Christmas presents just vanished. But as the holidays are upon us now and the kids will gonna have fun, and the children need to be entertained, so here’s my review of a new animated Grinch movie… Common let’s dive into

Image result for grinch movie images

The story:

Each year at Christmas they disturb his quiet solitude with their progressively bigger, brighter and brasher merriments. When the Whos announce they are going to make Christmas three times bigger this year, the Grinch grasps there is only one way for him to advance some concord and quiet: he must steal Christmas. To do so, he plumps he will pose as Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, even profitable so far as to trap a lackadaisical misfit reindeer to pull his sleigh. Meanwhile, down in Who-ville, Cindy-Lou Who-a young girl teeming with holiday cheer-plots with her gang of friends to trap Santa Claus as he makes his Christmas Eve circles so that she can thank him for help for her clichéd single mother. As Christmas approaches, however, her good-natured scheme impends to collide with the Grinch’s wicked one. Will Cindy-Lou achieve her goal of lastly meeting Santa Claus? Will the Grinch prosper in quieting the Whos’ holiday cheer once and for all?

Benedict Cumberbatch expresses a smaller amount of sinister version of Dr Seuss’s green meanie in a festive mode feel-good animation. From Minions creators Illumination, Pharrell Williams recounts this gorgeous animated remake of Dr Seuss’s 1957 children’s book How the Grinch Stole Christmas! This version can be a bit tight as compared with the softer version than the 1966 cartoon original (narrated by Boris Karloff), apparently flattening out his menacing smirk and visualizing his bright green fur as fine and strokably fuzzy. Voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch, the Christmas grumble is an expressive eater who wears “Mold Spice” deodorant and lives all alone with his pet dog, Max. He lives in a cave on the outskirts of Whoville, home to a civic life of Santa devotees.

The Credits:

Directors: Yarrow Cheney, Scott Mosier

Music director: Danny Elfman

Narrated by: Pharrell Williams

Producers: Chris Meledandri, Janet Healy

My Ratings: 3 star

My critic review: Though I’m a big fan of Grinch comic series and was very curious as it is from the makers of Despicable, but a bit disappointed on the tightness and the hold of the movie.  But I feel Grinch was not a bad boy he was alone and was suffering from lonely issues, thus, I felt it has been better, although I found the creative visuals to be super great and awesome, visually they are attractive enough to watch.

Merry Christmas! Cheers!

What a movie to write for – Stree Movie Review – here’s my take on it – Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor starrer one of the finest and the most original films of 2018. Stree marries the notion of broad comedy with horror, dark humour, and the social attire attached to it – that brings life to the story.

Stree Movie Review Spirited Blogger
Stree Movie Review Spirited Blogger

A town which happens to be in the grip of terror and covered by the tales of mysterious woman, who is ghost and calls the men by their name and then pull them towards her, finally abducting them, the funny and the horrified part of the story is that the Stree leaves the clothes behind and take the men. In spite of all little loophole sand stuff in the movie and all that ambiguous ideas, Stree is definitely an entertaining film. This is an untried comedy, which creates an unnerving atmosphere and certainly manages to be witty, funny and surely scary at the same time. Chanderi’s wonder boy was finally tailored extraordinaire, where the  Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) falls in love with a mysterious girl (Shraddha Kapoor) who just comes once a year for the puja and at the puja time. But, her disappearing act involved her friends in suspicion and they start thinking that she could be the Stree haunting the city for long.

Stree Movie Review Spirited Blogger
Stree Movie Review Spirited Blogger

The review: The ingrained prejudice against women and chauvinism are some of the social evils that exist in our society and eats the world out there. So, it doesn’t matter whether you’re educated or you are a civilized person, women have always had been on the vulnerable side and had to always play second fiddle in the male-dominant system – this is the irony of our Indian society. The world one day would positively, do well to give every woman far more respect they deserve. To see such an apposite conversation especially, unfold in a horror-comedy like Stree, was a refreshing and unique experience for me. But, it feels a bit juddering as well, it is also being compared with Bhool Bhulaiya starring Akshaya Kumar and Vidhya Balan – but when the film pokes fun at horror film ideas and finally entertains the audience with its jibes, unexpectedly bursts out into a comment on radicalism. In a bid to be socially germane, Stree ends up being a little too preachy but the comic timings of Raj Kumar Rao and the professor – Pankaj Tripathi was epic.
