It all starts a day after “Full Moon” when the bonfires are lit in the remembrance of Prahlad’s escape. And then next day the whole city gets painted in vibrant colors. When asked to a close friend of mine who hails from southern part of India, that what Holi is for him..He answered!

“For someone who grew up in India, Holi is the festival that is much awaited for a reason that I can think of, is fun, frolic, good food, the energy, and the spirit it brings to the people. He added by mentioning about the colours, the music, the noise, the beats of drums, dances, and smiles all around. However, if you ask most people what they love about Holi, will be I guess this kind of answer only.
