Book Review of The Illegitimate Dollar By Atul Sharma

The book is all about Arjun’s journey to achieve his dreams and aspirations.

The illegitimate dollar is a novel that has thrill, mystery, emotions and the fight to be right and achieves right in life. But everything comes with a cost, and this is shown in a mysterious manner in this novel. This is written by Atul Sharma my friend, being the first novel and that to a mystery thriller I must say it takes guts to do so. Congratulations 🥳

Start the day strong

Characters – Arjun and Sameera are in the main lead and the whole story revolves around them. Then you can see Ranjeet, Bunty and Steve who come along in the novel as strangers but had some or other connection associated. These characters make the story a thrill and a bit cumbersome at some places, but they keep you intact for suspense to unveil.

Critic Review – The story is simple but had a lot of twists and turns, but the sequence keeps the suspense open and makes me read more. But certain incidences when Sameera was attacked by goons and Arjun saved her, and when Arjun was arrested by police out of nowhere…etc. are planned nicely and well written to grip the story further.

These situations are written well, and create suspense to linger on. The climax is amazing but if you are keen on reading mystery thrillers or fiction then you may predict it in the last few chapters.
Although I feel a cover photo can be a bit more appealing, a well-tried one.

My ratings – 4/5

Overall a book to read for the love of fantasy, mystery and thriller…
